Empire는 Bauer Consumer Media가 매달 발행하는 영국 영화 잡지입니다. 1989년 7월 1일자부터 이 잡지는 Barry McIlheney에 의해 편집되고 Emap에서 출판되었다가, 2008년 초에 Bauer Consumer Media으로 합병되었습니다. 

이 잡지는 영국에서 가장 잘 팔리는 영화 잡지로서, 경쟁사인 토털 필름보다 많이 팔리며 호주, 터키, 러시아에서도 발행됩니다. Empire는 2009년까지 Sony Ericsson가 후원했고, 현재는 Jameson가 후원하는 he annual Empire Awards를 개최합니다. 이 상은 잡지 구독자의 투표로 진행됩니다.

Empire is a British film magazine published monthly by Bauer Consumer Media. From the first issue in July 1989, the magazine was edited by Barry McIlheney and published by Emap. Bauer purchased Emap Consumer Media in early 2008. It is the biggest selling film magazine in Britain, consistently outselling its nearest market rival Total Film and is also published in Australia, Turkey and Russia. Empire organises the annual Empire Awards which were sponsored by Sony Ericsson until 2009 and are now sponsored by Jameson.[1] The awards are voted for by readers of the magazine.
